Inclusive access
Accessibility
A design intended to work with keyboards, screen readers and different screen sizes.
The intended experience
Our target is WCAG 2.2 AA. Conformance must be tested on the implemented service; this page states a target, not a tested result.
-
Navigate without a pointer
Visible focus, semantic headings and labelled controls support keyboard use.
-
Read without colour alone
States have words and icons, with readable contrast and scalable text.
-
Choose your language
English, French and Arabic layouts include right-to-left support.
Our target
We are designing the public website and the product toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA. This is a target. We have not yet claimed a conformance level, and we will only do so once the implemented service has been tested.
What we designed in
- Keyboard use. Every link, button and form control can be reached and used from the keyboard, with a visible focus indicator.
- Structure. Pages use real headings, lists and landmarks so screen readers can move through them.
- Labels and errors. Form fields have visible labels, and errors are described in words.
- Colour and contrast. Status is never shown by colour alone, and text is designed for readable contrast.
- Text size and layout. Text can be enlarged and layouts adapt from phone to desktop.
- Language and direction. English, French and Arabic are supported, with a right-to-left layout for Arabic.
- Motion. Animations are kept minimal.
Known limitations
- Testing with assistive technologies is still to be completed, so some barriers may not yet be found.
- Product screenshots on this site are illustrations with sample data. They are described in text but are not interactive.
- Documents you upload, such as scanned receipts, are shown as the original and may not be accessible themselves. The extracted fields beside them are real form controls.
- Translations are reviewed over time, and some wording may be less polished in French or Arabic.
Report a problem
If something on the site is hard to use, please tell us. Describe the page, what you were trying to do, and the browser or assistive technology you use. You can reach us through the contact page. We will review each report and aim to fix the barrier or offer another way to get the same result.
